Hi, I'm Grace Tipper
Author of
"Guiding Star Through the Storm"
Out Now.
I wrote Guiding Star Through the Storm to share my lived experience with paranoid schizophrenia and help break the stigma surrounding serious mental illness. My journey has been long and often painful, filled with confusion, fear, and isolation—but also moments of insight, healing, and strength. Writing became a lifeline that helped me make sense of the chaos in my mind. Today, I’m a Mental Health First Aid Instructor, a Community Champion, and an advocate for greater understanding. Through my story, I hope to empower others and remind people that recovery is possible.
''Grace’s story is a beacon of hope—raw, honest, and profoundly moving. A must-read for anyone touched by mental illness.''
- Mark Brownn
Guiding Star Through the Storm – No one should walk this path alone.”
On 5th August, I released Guided Star Through the Storm, my memoir chronicling how trauma led to schizophrenia, and how I’ve emerged—medication-free, stigma-defying, and here to guide others. The visions, the angels, the dark days, and the climb back into light—it’s all in there. And if you’ve ever felt broken or misrepresented by the world’s idea of mental illness, this story is for you. I am no longer in the storm. I became the star.
